<br />
I've just purchased Mamonde Total Solution Eye Cream off Ebay! Can't wait for it to arrive!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J5by8FTiK8E/UMBVR61en9I/AAAAAAAAFOU/6sNZ3CtNYTQ/s1600/Mamonde+Total+Solution+Eye+Cream.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J5by8FTiK8E/UMBVR61en9I/AAAAAAAAFOU/6sNZ3CtNYTQ/s320/Mamonde+Total+Solution+Eye+Cream.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Hopefully this will be my HG eye cream as I've tried soooooooo many eye creams which don't work out as what I'd hope for.<br />
<br />
This cost me RM90.96 with free shipping direct from Seoul and it's a 30ml bottle! Quite affordable imo.<br />
<br />
Here are the description of the products, as per shown in their website.<br />
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<b>Product Benefits</b><b>- </b>Concentrated Moisturizing For Eyes<br /> Beta-glucan forms a moisture barrier around eyes to protect the eye area.<br />- Reduce Puffiness & Dark Circles<br /> Dermochlorella and orange flower extract improves dark circles and reduces puffiness by promoting circulation.</blockquote>
<br />
I'm overly excited about the 'promise' they gave for the dark circles improvement. We shall see when I have used this for at least half of the bottle!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-32408601239018937872012-11-15T01:02:00.001-08:002012-11-15T01:02:45.684-08:00L'Oreal Youth Code Rejuvenating Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I got this from Barcelona El-Prat Airport earlier this year. It came with the Youth Code Day & Night Cream pack. Roughly about €12 each. Of course it's sold separately as well but I think it's about €20 which is way too much for me.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Fou00ZYLXBo/UKSsG-XddmI/AAAAAAAAFNg/HawmAh6QdaU/s1600/L%2527Oreal+Youth+Code+Rejuvenating+Anti+Wrinkle+Eye+Cream.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Fou00ZYLXBo/UKSsG-XddmI/AAAAAAAAFNg/HawmAh6QdaU/s1600/L%2527Oreal+Youth+Code+Rejuvenating+Anti+Wrinkle+Eye+Cream.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
It's the usual 15ml glass jar with a plastic screwcap as how their other lines of eye creams are.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-AWwaxHkBtEI/UKSr_WO9zXI/AAAAAAAAFNU/NxjoHZEVDTg/s1600/L%2527Oreal+Youth+Code+Rejuvenating+Anti+Wrinkle+Eye+Cream+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-AWwaxHkBtEI/UKSr_WO9zXI/AAAAAAAAFNU/NxjoHZEVDTg/s1600/L%2527Oreal+Youth+Code+Rejuvenating+Anti+Wrinkle+Eye+Cream+%25282%2529.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And it's half used. I usually prefer to review after it's been used for awhile to see if there is really a difference after. As you can see, it's of a thick mouse consistency. It is not frangraced.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FlRmDpOoVRo/UKSsBhMRpYI/AAAAAAAAFNY/BrUFrhZaS2s/s1600/L%2527Oreal+Youth+Code+Rejuvenating+Anti+Wrinkle+Eye+Cream+%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FlRmDpOoVRo/UKSsBhMRpYI/AAAAAAAAFNY/BrUFrhZaS2s/s1600/L%2527Oreal+Youth+Code+Rejuvenating+Anti+Wrinkle+Eye+Cream+%25283%2529.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ul0Kw3mwF4s/UKSsD-2PK4I/AAAAAAAAFNc/0VBcKxSaw68/s1600/L%2527Oreal+Youth+Code+Rejuvenating+Anti+Wrinkle+Eye+Cream+%25284%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ul0Kw3mwF4s/UKSsD-2PK4I/AAAAAAAAFNc/0VBcKxSaw68/s1600/L%2527Oreal+Youth+Code+Rejuvenating+Anti+Wrinkle+Eye+Cream+%25284%2529.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
After application, my eye area did feel moisturised as I prefer thicker creams as opposed to gels. That's because when gel dries up, it gives me that taut feeling and sometimes my eye area gets irritated by that.<br />
<br />
It claims to rejuvenate and gives an anti wrinkle benefit, which does not do it for me. But I will buy it again for it's moisturising benefits rather than their other claims.<br />
<br />
I guess I'll be off looking for a new eye cream again! Must be the milionth time I've changed a brand for this!<br />
<br />
Sadly this eye cream is not available in Malaysia for those who wants to try it out.<br />
<br />
Note: Will be updating more reviews soon! I won't be updating any nail swatches at the moment as I haven't gotten any new colours yet!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-44384124595048597722012-10-06T21:17:00.000-07:002012-11-15T00:53:24.830-08:00Orly GothHey Girls,<br />
<br />
Tried out a new colour today, well, not really new as I've got alot of black ones lying around.<br />
<br />
It goes opaque on 2nd coat. Upon 1st coat, it doesn't even apply streaky but I'm really used to 2 coats manicure at least.<br />
<br />
This has a black base with silver glitter. It's very minimal, which is exactly what I like. Overloading in glitter just makes me crazy when removing.<br />

<br />
Been really unhappy with the korean moisturiser that I'm using current. I won't be able to give you the name because it's all in Korean wordings.<br />
<br />
Anyway, the first time using it, it cleared my acne (chin, around nose - everywhere) and whiteheads (forehead). I used that particular moisturiser a couple of years back and last December - I ran out of it because I gave the last pair of moisturiser (1 night and 1 day cream) to my sister who has the same problem as me. My skin was crystal clear and I was able to go out without having to use any face powder and the sort. So I thought "OK, looks like my skin is clear of all the bad stuff".<br />
<br />
By mid of January this year, one by one, the pimple start popping - particularly the area of my chin, around my nose and above lip area. The whiteheads which was cleared before, started coming back one by one and I panicked. So I got it again in February in the hopes that it'll go back as how it was before the first time using it. Sadly, it's still not good enough for me.<br />
<br />
I'm into the 7th month of usage now. There are still minority of whiteheads and the occasional zits during the time of the month.
<br />
<br />
Sorry for the sad post but, but but!!! I finally bought the Laneige Balancing Emulsion Light. Well, still need time for it to arrive KL though. I will be doing a full review of it once I use about half of the bottle!<br />

Have any of you used this before? Does it really moisturised your face to the max as it claims? Does it reduce the oiliness of your skin?Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-54967176179922074272012-08-18T20:07:00.003-07:002012-08-18T20:07:53.012-07:00Essie She's Picture PerfectThis is actually more to lilac rather than baby blue. I couldn't even capture the right colour with both natural light and warm light! But anyway, the 2nd picture is almost what our naked eye could see.<br />
<br />
This is 2 coats and it's a great formula. It has very very fine and minimal pinkish shimmer which I'm unable to capture as well. At least it's not a bland creme!<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1gqrKxhBdz0/UB5PMTE1BKI/AAAAAAAAFIc/9j41KDrxiQ4/s1600/OPI+Warm+%2526+Fozzie+%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1gqrKxhBdz0/UB5PMTE1BKI/AAAAAAAAFIc/9j41KDrxiQ4/s320/OPI+Warm+%2526+Fozzie+%25283%2529.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Look at that! Isn't it gorgeous? It's did such a good work bling-ing my nails. It's like I have gold on my nails, well, not really gold but you get the jizz right?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nZIwqwN1b8c/UB5PO2luhII/AAAAAAAAFIg/ADD_97mjZvg/s1600/OPI+Warm+%2526+Fozzie.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="271" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nZIwqwN1b8c/UB5PO2luhII/AAAAAAAAFIg/ADD_97mjZvg/s320/OPI+Warm+%2526+Fozzie.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Took this picture to show you how colourful the foils are. However, I wonder how it'd be when it's time to do my manicure again? Will update soon on that!<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: magenta;">Update: Removing this polish is a nightmare. But definitely easier than removing large foils. But still.... argh!</span></b>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-13487074668781651752012-06-09T16:16:00.001-07:002012-06-09T16:16:25.606-07:00Skin Food Argan Oil Silk Hair EssenceSo, I'm in the stage of looking for the best hair serum/oil/repair treatment at the moment. My hair has become really dry, because earlier this year I decided to colour my hair of a light brown (but in reality, the colour chart shows that it's dark blonde but of course looks of a light brown on Asian hair) and that usually means more % of peroxide (or whatever they call the hair dye mixer).<br />
<br />
I tried so many products and I got this one when I was in Seoul in March this year.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-izdzZcc5Ufk/T9PYHt3tvkI/AAAAAAAAFG4/8pII3Tb9D10/s1600/Skin+Food+Argan+Oil+Silk+Hair+Essence.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-izdzZcc5Ufk/T9PYHt3tvkI/AAAAAAAAFG4/8pII3Tb9D10/s320/Skin+Food+Argan+Oil+Silk+Hair+Essence.JPG" width="229" /></a></div>
<br />
It's Argan Oil and I've read that this is really good for the hair bla bla bla. It's about RM30+ and I've checked Skin Food in KL and it seems to be selling at RM60?! Crazy right?! Well, I'm the sort of person who will only buy a product which originate from their own country to save on my money. That is of course if I ever visit that country or if my siblings are. :D<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lvst9APjrBg/T9PYjxXqdSI/AAAAAAAAFHA/-yYE_AnpeLA/s1600/Skin+Food+Argan+Oil+Silk+Hair+Essence+%282%29.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lvst9APjrBg/T9PYjxXqdSI/AAAAAAAAFHA/-yYE_AnpeLA/s320/Skin+Food+Argan+Oil+Silk+Hair+Essence+%282%29.JPG" width="193" /></a></div>
<br />
It does have some perfume smell to it but after application, you won't be able to notice that smell anymore. I use 2 pumps for the bottom half of my hair and 2 pumps for the top half. I feel that just 1 pump or 2 pumps for the whole head is not enough. Plus, my hair's a bit longer now. :D Been waiting forever for the hair to grow out and I notice that it's pretty fast.<br />
<br />
Verdict: It did somehow moisturised my hair but then again I'm not sure if this is the product that made it more moisturised than usual because I'm using a few different products every few days. LOL But, this oil is worth it!! Get it girls!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-49391604899794630072012-06-06T05:07:00.000-07:002012-06-07T01:59:31.449-07:00Missha M Super Black Brush Pen LinerI got another eyeliner - AGAIN! Yes, I know. I have a ton of them now but, while I was in Seoul back in March 2012, I was walking from an exit to the train platform, I passed by Missha.<br />
<br />
My sister told me about Missha before but I didn't take notice of it. I believe that they don't even have a counter/store here in Malaysia? If they do, please let me know!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7B94K6WS7Yw/T8tQYkeSzHI/AAAAAAAAFGQ/uWbio689zow/s1600/Missha+M+Super+Black+Brush+Pen+Liner+%282%29.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="196" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7B94K6WS7Yw/T8tQYkeSzHI/AAAAAAAAFGQ/uWbio689zow/s320/Missha+M+Super+Black+Brush+Pen+Liner+%282%29.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The liquid eyeliner was put at the front of the store and I was intrique with the packaging (like always). Later on (when I got back home), I found out that this is their newest line. I think it's the M line. I guess that's why it was at the front of the shop.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AFjw-X8nbNU/T8tQvP3UvxI/AAAAAAAAFGY/kK-CN--xj40/s1600/Missha+M+Super+Black+Brush+Pen+Liner+%283%29.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="188" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AFjw-X8nbNU/T8tQvP3UvxI/AAAAAAAAFGY/kK-CN--xj40/s320/Missha+M+Super+Black+Brush+Pen+Liner+%283%29.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
It cost me <span class="st">₩11,800 which is about RM31-ish. So, without looking at the price, I was asking the SA for waterproof liquid eyeliner in black and she suggested me to get this. And finally I paid for it and was shocked at the price. I was thinking of getting a cheap one but, oh well.</span><br />

<span class="st"><br /></span><br />
<span class="st">The brush is really soft (comparable to Maybelline's Hypersharp Eyeliner). This is obviously in black. When you shake it, there is this ball that you hear rocking back and forth (like a liquid paper tube).</span><br />

<span class="st">The surprising thing about this eyeliner is IT DID NOT SMUDGE NOR TRANSFER TO MY UNDER EYELID. I'm serious! I have oily t-zone and practically ALL eyeliners (pen, pencil & even gel) smudge by 11am and I look like I did it on purpose to create that gothic look!</span><br />

I promised I'll be posting up more post this time 'round!<br />
<br />
Anyway, I got this eye cream from Guardian awhile ago. I wanted a cream that is really creamy, instead of watery lotion-ish type of eye cream.<br />
<br />
I think this goes for around RM40+. Sorry! Forgot the price but, it's around that range.<br />
<br />
Anyhow, it's a 15ml tub - as usual, most eye creams are of this size.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0uIxL3k2SYE/T8tLC5MY_wI/AAAAAAAAFF4/mWemOQMXIQo/s1600/L%27Oreal+Revitalift+Eye+%282%29.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0uIxL3k2SYE/T8tLC5MY_wI/AAAAAAAAFF4/mWemOQMXIQo/s320/L%27Oreal+Revitalift+Eye+%282%29.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I apply this once in the morning and once at night.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zgu94VVGHVc/T8tLNDoyczI/AAAAAAAAFGA/JwkUAliYXzA/s1600/L%27Oreal+Revitalift+Eye.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zgu94VVGHVc/T8tLNDoyczI/AAAAAAAAFGA/JwkUAliYXzA/s320/L%27Oreal+Revitalift+Eye.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
As you can see from the picture, it's of a white creamy consistency but of course it applies on transparent. I really like the consistency though. However, there isn't much difference from the first day I applied it till today. I guess it's probably a few months now?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6ecMkb1Rkg4/T8tLf5UB1II/AAAAAAAAFGI/61FPkSKTBGw/s1600/L%27Oreal+Revitalift+Eye+%283%29.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6ecMkb1Rkg4/T8tLf5UB1II/AAAAAAAAFGI/61FPkSKTBGw/s320/L%27Oreal+Revitalift+Eye+%283%29.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Look! The tub is almost empty!! I guess it could last me for another 10 applications the most? Well, I'll be trying out another L'Oreal eye cream after this one runs out. I got it in Barcelona El Prat International Airport (special travel package - but it's all full sized tubs) back in January 2012.<br />
<br />
Will do a review on that in a few month's time!<br />
<br />
Verdict: I will not repurchase this eye cream again unless it is absolutely the only eye cream available in the market.<br />
<br />
Let me know what you think. Have you used this eye cream before?Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-43031151759582498032012-04-14T18:54:00.000-07:002012-06-07T01:59:01.557-07:00Skin Food All Over Muffin Cake FinishI was in Seoul this March 2012. There were so many cosmetics store everywhere and I just had to go into Skin Food. I heard it was much cheaper there than in KL. I was right! It was around 30% to 40% cheaper! And if I hit a certain amount, I'd get my tax refund at the airport.<br />
<br />
I got the All Over Muffin Cake Finish - yea, yea, another bronzer! It smelled kind of sweet. I didn't realised that until I used it back home. I prefer a citrusy smell or none at all if possible.<br />
<br />
It even came with a brush (at the separated bottom compartment) but, I don't think it'll work well because it's a flat brush. I don't go well with flat brushes.<br />

It is a Spanish departmental store (like Parkson) and I spotted Rimmel's counter!<br />
<br />
That's where I searched for bronzers. I'm so in love with bronzers I don't know why. I don't crave the 'fair' look which is and will always be a 'in' thing in Asia. I love being tanned!<br />
<br />
Anyhow, I got this Shimmering Bronzer in 001 Gold Princess. I think it was €5.95 after 20% tourist discount. Seems like a fair price.<br />

I've been travelling and then coming back and then travelling again. I would be flying off again end of May and hopefully I'll be able to get some scheduled posts up. <br />
<br />
This is the 2nd A-England polish that I have.<br />
<br />
Again, formula was really thick. I wish they had really given it some more thinning into it as when it is already thick upon first using it, what more will be later?<br />
<br />
It's more like a puple holo but I feel that it should have more of the holo particles. Not very sure if I'll purchase any more of their holo polishes. We'll see. <br />
<br />
Although formula was thick, it was easy to apply. I did see a 'stray' hair on the brush and i pulled it out and cut it off. Wouldn't want it to ruin my manicure. Drying time was slow, so I had to use Seche's Top Coat.<br />

They are offering free shipping worldwide, so why not?<br />
<br />
I bought 2 polishes, both of them holos. Coming right up is Tristam.<br />
<br />
It's a blue holo.<br />
<br />
But anyhow, the colour is really nice. I like! Consistency is abit on the thick side. The brush is round but I'm alright with that since I'm getting quite good with polishing after doing manicures after manicures - at least once a week. Drying time is a little slow, so I had to use Seche's top coat. Otherwise, I will definately smudge this.... because I need to freaking wash the wok after this.<br />

Not sure why, it seems to look better with my skin tone.<br />
<br />
Here's OPI Baby It's Coal Outside. Quite an old colour but I absolutely love it. Notice the faint shimmer? I love it as it does not overpower the dark charcoal colour.<br />
<br />
Application was easy. However, this is 3 coats. It was as opaque as I wished it'd be at 2 coats. Surprisingly, this formula dries up on the nail quite fast.<br />

I was using the Averine Cover Spot in Medium for many years and decided wanted to try something else this cost me about RM68. It comes in a lipstick form but, I'll talk about this some other time.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uIi3MujYnVk/TzCaqoCV5BI/AAAAAAAAE9E/1N0PwBVO-04/s1600/ELF+Studio+Complete+Coverage+Concealer+in+Medium.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="194" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uIi3MujYnVk/TzCaqoCV5BI/AAAAAAAAE9E/1N0PwBVO-04/s320/ELF+Studio+Complete+Coverage+Concealer+in+Medium.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XtZ7EcZ4CyI/TzCay4I0T5I/AAAAAAAAE9Y/ttu07ikm694/s1600/ELF+Studio+Complete+Coverage+Concealer+in+Medium+%25285%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="251" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XtZ7EcZ4CyI/TzCay4I0T5I/AAAAAAAAE9Y/ttu07ikm694/s320/ELF+Studio+Complete+Coverage+Concealer+in+Medium+%25285%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
The texture is somewhat creamy but not that creamy. Colour wise, it's OK for me as I have a light tan skin. Apparently, I'm able to use all 4 shades. However, I do mix 2 shades sometimes, especially for the light ones to accomodate my skin colour at times.<br />
<br />
Coverage wise, it's covers light redness well but other than that, it's not as impressive as I thought it'd be. It doesn't cover dark under eye circle well as mine is really dark. <br />

The manicurist in Sephora Barcelona (SB) used this to file down my nails and it seemed really easy to use. Unlike those really thin emory boards - so flimsy and just hate it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vcDjmD-Tvxg/TzCWyIHQTWI/AAAAAAAAE8M/qdrzkObfUhM/s1600/Sephora+Nail+File.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="225" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vcDjmD-Tvxg/TzCWyIHQTWI/AAAAAAAAE8M/qdrzkObfUhM/s320/Sephora+Nail+File.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Nails: OPI Espresso Your Style & Tips Zoya Danii</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">I got this nail file in KL though, didn't think I'd need it until I got back from my trip. However, I'm not very good in shaping my nails yet. I always never able to get it to be square enough, it's already somewhat square-round-ish, if you know what i mean.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-style: italic;"> </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3kxXDQJGfSk/TzCW0Hg0vBI/AAAAAAAAE8U/90OsLdt-LzQ/s1600/Sephora+Nail+File+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="99" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3kxXDQJGfSk/TzCW0Hg0vBI/AAAAAAAAE8U/90OsLdt-LzQ/s320/Sephora+Nail+File+%25282%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gKruzw8Yr_M/TzCW2PvN-pI/AAAAAAAAE8Y/DRUwcEdk8D8/s1600/Sephora+Nail+File+%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="95" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gKruzw8Yr_M/TzCW2PvN-pI/AAAAAAAAE8Y/DRUwcEdk8D8/s320/Sephora+Nail+File+%25283%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-style: italic;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-style: italic;"></span><br />
There's the shaping side in black and the finish in flourescent orange. It comes in a 2pk. It's around RM16 and I think the price is quite ok considering other cheaper brands also sell this at around the same price. Of course, I'd like to get a really professional brand one but, I'm not a professional manicurist, so yea....</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">I'll definately be bringing this for when I travel as it's much easier to carry this on-board.</div><span id="goog_259753430"></span><span id="goog_259753431"></span>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-42920812377871290512012-01-24T06:45:00.000-08:002012-01-28T07:02:48.851-08:00YSL Nail Polish - Colour UnknownAnyway, I'm was Barcelona just this week and in need of a manicure. I was really desperate as my current manicure looks like crap, it's all chipped and..... ugly.<br />
<br />
I went to Depiline Center and found out that I needed a freaking appointment. All they would do for walk-ins now are waxings only....<br />
<br />
So they recommended Sephora. Went to the nearest Sephora and got my nails done. I picked a black shimmer by YSL, didn't even have a colour label on it and hope you readers out there could help me. I'm about to remove this polish. Hopefully this is not a limited edition colour though. :(<br />
<br />
Sorry for the weared out polish though - pictures were only taken when I got back home 4 days later.<br />

<br />
It's another one of my favourite colour - purple and this time it's a holo purple. Application was really easy and I super loved it!<br />

It's 2 coats here.<br />

However, I re-read the instructions and it says to massage the lotion in upon application.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fNeakvioUcg/TwESCwv1LTI/AAAAAAAAE5I/NSa1nRnc2yE/s1600/Bio+Essence+Tri+Aqua+Boost+Hydra+Nourising+Lotion+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fNeakvioUcg/TwESCwv1LTI/AAAAAAAAE5I/NSa1nRnc2yE/s320/Bio+Essence+Tri+Aqua+Boost+Hydra+Nourising+Lotion+%25282%2529.JPG" width="192" /></a></div><br />
The bottle is actually made of glass, however, I wish they had made this into a pump. It's rather hard to get the content out as it's not liquidy enough. It's a lotion consistency where by a pump or a soft squeeze bottle will be more suitable. I wonder what was the designer thinking when they created this bottle? Silly much?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YlO4SrpU6TQ/TwESBLAYiPI/AAAAAAAAE5E/wBwL1PZ3ysM/s1600/Bio+Essence+Tri+Aqua+Boost+Hydra+Nourising+Lotion.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YlO4SrpU6TQ/TwESBLAYiPI/AAAAAAAAE5E/wBwL1PZ3ysM/s320/Bio+Essence+Tri+Aqua+Boost+Hydra+Nourising+Lotion.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
To get the contect out, I would have to shake rather hard but the amount of lotion coming out from the bottle from 1 shake is good enough for 1 application. Bottle was slightly heavy and not transparent, so we won't know for sure if there is still lotion left as and when.<br />
<br />
Application wise, I started doing this: I rub the lotion with my 2 hands, then apply everything onto my face in a massage motion (if this makes sense). Within a few minutes, the lotion gets absorbed and I can't say it felt great but it didn't feel greasy or leave any sticky residue. Lotion smells of green tea - as in Ginvera's green tea range fragrance.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-G3jR5rHQdws/TwESEwTw8II/AAAAAAAAE5M/K40YmsAyqvY/s1600/Bio+Essence+Tri+Aqua+Boost+Hydra+Nourising+Lotion+%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="227" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-G3jR5rHQdws/TwESEwTw8II/AAAAAAAAE5M/K40YmsAyqvY/s320/Bio+Essence+Tri+Aqua+Boost+Hydra+Nourising+Lotion+%25283%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Here is the ingrediants list for anyone who's interested.<br />
<br />
Verdict: I've been using this for the past 10 days - only as a night routine though, as I have other creams/lotions to finish up as well. Didn't see much of a difference on my skin - it maintained. I guess I won't be repurchasing. <br />
<br />
Should I try out Hada Labo or Laneige next? Since I'm heading to Seoul in March, I might be getting myself some of the core items that I might want to use. But alas, I still need to consult their specialist to know what's good for my skin.<br />
<br />
My skin type: combination skin with oily t-zone. I get blackheads on my nose area and also areas near the nose but before the cheeks. I get occasional zits when it's time of the month.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-13763043316285130072012-01-03T21:47:00.000-08:002012-01-03T21:47:00.962-08:00Blush & Bronzer: NYX Blush & BronzerI'm a sucker for bronzers and I thought, with the discounts NYX is offering, why not get this and try it out?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Zuh2vaYX6qQ/Tv_z8Q5lobI/AAAAAAAAE3o/tJVihVgKuak/s1600/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%25288%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="302" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Zuh2vaYX6qQ/Tv_z8Q5lobI/AAAAAAAAE3o/tJVihVgKuak/s320/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%25288%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-OS9wF41ErSQ/Tv_z-NUC7cI/AAAAAAAAE3s/Fhilfb1nLRw/s1600/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%25289%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="292" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-OS9wF41ErSQ/Tv_z-NUC7cI/AAAAAAAAE3s/Fhilfb1nLRw/s320/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%25289%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
And the shade I picked up is BBC01 - Sunrise in Bali. I don't know why I keep getting bronzers that comes with a blush but I hope that I will start buying just bronzers in the future.<br />
<br />
The packaging is really nice and sturdy plastic. The surface is smooth and easy to hold. It comes with a sponge, which I threw away because I just don't like using sponges. I prefer to use a brush.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xZcIZwxcliA/Tv_z4Nd_CGI/AAAAAAAAE3g/ExAauofeYE4/s1600/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%25285%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="303" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xZcIZwxcliA/Tv_z4Nd_CGI/AAAAAAAAE3g/ExAauofeYE4/s320/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%25285%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zLQG_IrMwC8/Tv_z6eZw3zI/AAAAAAAAE3k/dSqpyfObEyY/s1600/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%25287%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="270" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zLQG_IrMwC8/Tv_z6eZw3zI/AAAAAAAAE3k/dSqpyfObEyY/s320/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%25287%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
This is how the colour looks in the pan under sunlight. Thankfully there's sunlight today and I get to take a good picture. Notice how the bronzer is so tanned but once you put it on your face - it's not even that dark. The blusher is close to Nars Orgasm/Milani Luminous/NYX Pinched. It's my favourite shade of blusher but sometimes I tend to want to try other colours as well.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iOBhE668SjY/Tv_z16m73nI/AAAAAAAAE3c/MrJKsqrCNGE/s1600/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iOBhE668SjY/Tv_z16m73nI/AAAAAAAAE3c/MrJKsqrCNGE/s320/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%25282%2529.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
This is taken under cool flourescent light. I taped off the blush part because it's too pigmented. And the purpose of getting this product is so I could use the bronzer but also have a slight pink tone to the whole of my face. I got the plastic from the NYX Powder Foundation, cut it into half and taped it with a scotch tape. I feel that it's a brilliant idea as it will stop my brush from picking up the blush pigments.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NfQO5O2Wjs4/Tv_0ALpK6HI/AAAAAAAAE3w/URucn_NuBiw/s1600/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%252810%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NfQO5O2Wjs4/Tv_0ALpK6HI/AAAAAAAAE3w/URucn_NuBiw/s320/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%252810%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fr8odlGv8p4/Tv_0BwQvR-I/AAAAAAAAE30/PxD12cfFjOI/s1600/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%252811%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fr8odlGv8p4/Tv_0BwQvR-I/AAAAAAAAE30/PxD12cfFjOI/s320/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali+%252811%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
These 2 swatches are taken under sunlight, but it's on a heavy hand. Notice how shimmer the blush looks? So much more shimmery than Nars Orgasm/Milani Luminous/NYX Pinched.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-R6C0kELO0p4/Tv_zz1KNBZI/AAAAAAAAE3Y/dwMM1BQDZ2k/s1600/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-R6C0kELO0p4/Tv_zz1KNBZI/AAAAAAAAE3Y/dwMM1BQDZ2k/s320/NYX+Blush+%2526+Bronzer+-+Sunrise+in+Bali.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
This swatch is taken under cool flourescent lights.<br />
<br />
Overall: I love this product, however, I will not be repurchasing as I think there are much better products than this. I do currently use another blush & bronzer from Milani - which was already discontinued. I prefer the one from Milani though!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-12582279910659514552011-12-27T05:37:00.000-08:002011-12-31T22:11:29.561-08:00Powder Foundation: NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat FoundationSo I bought this, out of curiosity, as review has it that it lets your foundation stay matte for longer! I chose Creamy Natural as the shade on NYX's website looks quite similar to my skintone.<br />
<br />
However, upon receiving, I was shocked because it's more to like a fair colour!<br />
<br />

That's the back of the packaging. The hole is supposed to be airy for the sponge which is located below the powder.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n9tpZiLA4iA/TvHhkfInhXI/AAAAAAAAEx4/i_dHxBIBKUY/s1600/NYX+Stay+Matte+But+Not+Flat+Foundation+-+Creamy+Natural+%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n9tpZiLA4iA/TvHhkfInhXI/AAAAAAAAEx4/i_dHxBIBKUY/s320/NYX+Stay+Matte+But+Not+Flat+Foundation+-+Creamy+Natural+%25283%2529.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
That's how fair the powder is. This is the first level of the packaging.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Z2SsV6Q1SM0/TvHhl7es0rI/AAAAAAAAEx8/gqkRdpZwZLk/s1600/NYX+Stay+Matte+But+Not+Flat+Foundation+-+Creamy+Natural+%25284%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Z2SsV6Q1SM0/TvHhl7es0rI/AAAAAAAAEx8/gqkRdpZwZLk/s320/NYX+Stay+Matte+But+Not+Flat+Foundation+-+Creamy+Natural+%25284%2529.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
Once you lift up the powder plate, there's your sponge applicator. I don't use sponges to apply as I prefer to use the stippling method when applying powder foundation/bronzer.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zWZAW_vn-I4/TvHhhDbTGxI/AAAAAAAAExs/YUyRqMtCPn8/s1600/NYX+Stay+Matte+But+Not+Flat+Foundation+-+Creamy+Natural.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zWZAW_vn-I4/TvHhhDbTGxI/AAAAAAAAExs/YUyRqMtCPn8/s320/NYX+Stay+Matte+But+Not+Flat+Foundation+-+Creamy+Natural.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
That's the swatch.<br />
<br />
Overall: Upon application to my face, the colour isn't at all that fair. It blends well with my skintone albeit myself being a medium. My skin usually gets oily after about 4 hours after makeup is applied but with this powder, I don't get oily until 4pm which is really good as I apply my makeup at about 7.30am. The best thing is, even when it gets oily by then, it's not as oily as I usually get with other powders! Bravo NYX! I'm definately repurchasing once this runs out.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-76860928779614778522011-12-20T22:42:00.000-08:002011-12-20T22:42:00.148-08:00Essie Going IncognitoThis is the last polish I have from Essie Winter 2010 collection.<br />
<br />
As you can see from the pictures, it's green. The colour is exactly as pictured. It's easy to apply and dries quite well. Green's not really my kind of colour though but overall, it's of a great formula.<br />

<br />
A gorgeous bright red which instantly reminds me of the Santa Claus costume. It has a jelly finish which is very shiny even with top coat.<br />

The photos without flash give a better idea on how the actual colour looks like. Great formula which can be an 1 coater if you have steady hand, i use 2 coats in the photos for full opacity.<br />

Definitely fun colour and suitable for Christmas and Chinese New Year season. As a lover of red myself, I definitely love this colour and can't take my eyes off my fingers after I have this colour on. :D<br />
<br />
Note from the Editor: Esther, I really love this colour! I will probably get 1 for myself real soon! :D Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2827160463920284582.post-91375794786846925132011-12-06T19:05:00.000-08:002011-12-06T19:05:01.077-08:00Essie Masquerade BelleAnother polish from Essie's Winter 2010 collection. This is Masquerade Belle.<br />
<br />
It's a really warm brown with a hint of reddish in it. This colour reminds me so much of OPI Yes I Can, Can minus the very minimal shimmer. I'll do a side by side comparison real soon and I've just realised I haven't done any review/swatches of OPI Yes I Can, Can.<br />
<br />
Okay, back to Masquerade Belle. The polish is extreme easy to work with, opaque within the 1st coat if you put on a thicker one, which I did but this is 2 coats anyway. Drying time was really good and I absolutely love this colour!<br />

Up until today, it's left with that much (refer picture below).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-orUGwMpM3eU/Ts5Fo1pZ4ZI/AAAAAAAAEq8/fIa_molWK3E/s1600/DSC00437.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-orUGwMpM3eU/Ts5Fo1pZ4ZI/AAAAAAAAEq8/fIa_molWK3E/s320/DSC00437.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
With this much left, the top coat starts to thickened already! OMG, I was like WHAT?! Anyway, I've purchased Seche Restore just for this as I've read in MUA that it's really good in thinning the SV top coat. <br />
<br />
Overall, this top coat is so COOL. My manicure is always dry to touch upon 5 minutes of application and after about 15 minutes, I can do whatever without worrying about denting it. Of course, I'm being more careful and hard core torturing won't be good for your manicure if it's done within the first hour. Oh and my manicure looks really luxurious with this top coat. It looks like it has a really thick layer of shiny stuff on it.<br />
<br />
Yes, it is shiny!<br />
<br />
However, after about 3 days, the shine goes away and I start getting scratches on my manicure. The scratches are due to the fact that I do alot of typing, cooking and cleaning though.<br />
<br />
I've never looked back! I will never use another top coat anymore!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
